AN INTEGRATED 12-STEP PROGRAM

At New Hope Ranch, we integrate many of the 12-step philosophies into our program along with complementary evidence-based therapies. This approach aids recovery by helping individuals maintain ongoing sobriety through a combination of peer support and individualized treatment.

A SAFE SPACE FOR MEN TO HEAL

You’ll never get lost in the crowd here. We purposefully limit our program sizes to ensure individualized attention along with intimate groups that are safe and supportive. We provide a back-to-basics structure in a nurturing environment that is essential when transitioning from the instability of addiction to a more balanced life of sobriety.

A STAFF WHO GENUINELY CARES

We believe wholeheartedly in people getting sober. Our team of medical, clinical and patient care experts are committed to support individuals through the steps necessary for an authentically recovered life. Our licensed clinicians are trained in therapeutic models grounded in science and view treatment through a trauma-informed lens.

FAMILY PROGRAMMING

Addiction is a disease that impacts relationships. Our family therapy and education program pave the way to understanding, acceptance and forgiveness for patients and family. With us, family members will learn to set healthy boundaries and practice self-care while being a support system for their loved one.

VETERANS AND FIRST RESPONDERS PROGRAMS

Our Veterans and First Responders programs are specially designed to meet the needs of those who have served our country and our local communities.

  • Our approach. We complement one-on-one treatment with small group sessions made up of servicemen who form strong bonds of community and support.
  • Our treatment philosophy. Treatment is done with a trauma-focused lens and includes dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), music therapy and family therapy to name a few.
  • Transitional services. We help veterans prepare for life at home, including navigating finances, writing resumes and support reintegrating with family and loved ones.

New Hope Ranch accepts most major insurance providers and we offer a complimentary benefit check for all inquiry calls. Please note: A referral/consult from VA Houston, VA McAllen, VA Beaumont, VA El Paso, VA Dallas or VA San Antonio is needed for veterans with TriWest insurance.

  • Do you offer inpatient medical detox?

Yes, we do. Twenty-four-hour supervision during detoxification from drugs or alcohol is safer and more comfortable than at-home or outpatient detox. At New Hope Ranch, we provide medically managed detox with a specially-trained team, including an addictionologist physician.

Under our care, patients receive anti-nausea antidepressants or other medicines to manage withdrawal symptoms. In addition to the medicines that address withdrawal symptoms, prescriptions that treat the substance use may also be utilized.

  • Do you offer residential treatment for drug and alcohol abuse?

Once detox is complete, patients typically transition to our residential rehab treatment program that integrates evidence-based therapy within a 12-step philosophy. Individuals who step outside the stressors of day-to-day life and submerse themselves in a therapeutic environment gives them the best possible chance for lasting recovery.

  • I’m nervous about life after residential rehab.

We firmly believe in the power of support. After completing residential care for drug or alcohol addiction, we encourage patients to take part in our intensive outpatient and aftercare programs, which give additional structure and support while they transition back the demands of daily life.
