Medical Detox

Recover Comfortably

At New Hope Ranch, we offer a medical detoxification process that is research-driven yet personalized to your individual needs. We treat patients for an entire spectrum of substance use issues including opioids, alcohol, benzodiazepines, methamphetamines, marijuana (including synthetic marijuana) and methadone detoxification. We utilize a variety of medications including buprenorphine for opiate detoxification, as well as medications to help ease symptoms. Upon admission, you are immediately evaluated to determine your personalized procedure, which is monitored and adjusted daily depending on your needs.

Austin Detox Care 24/7

We understand that detoxification is only the beginning of your journey and we work closely with our clinical team to identify factors leading to substance use so you can be treated both medically and therapeutically. You can take comfort in knowing that our medical department is staffed with nurses 24 hours each day to ensure that you are monitored and cared for during the entire detoxification process. We also have a fulltime physician’s assistant, and the entire department is supervised by our medical director, both of whom have specialized training in addiction treatment.

Medication-Assisted Treatment at New Hope Ranch

At New Hope Ranch right outside of Austin, we also evaluate patients for the use of medication-assisted treatment (MAT) as part of their treatment plan. We recognize that MAT can be a vital tool to assist in recovery when it is used in addition to other appropriate treatments including psychiatric treatment, a relapse prevention plan and individual or group therapy. Depending on your circumstances and needs, MAT can be started during treatment or arrangements can be made to start this treatment once you are discharged.
