New Life ACS - Family & Friends Support Group

Family & Friends Support Group

Even Those Not in Recovery Need to Heal

If your loved one is struggling with a substance use or mental health disorder, it’s likely affecting you, too. There is a chance that you have felt a lot of disappointment, hurt, anger and sadness. You deserve an outlet where you can begin to heal.

Our free family and friends support group meets monthly to explain and discuss the disease of addiction, give you strategies to deal with certain issues, and recommend other resources and groups available to you.

We realize that when a family member, significant other or friend is struggling, you may experience:

  • Painful and conflicting emotions
  • Internal questioning, such as, “Why do I need to help if it’s not my problem?”
  • Struggles with understanding what is exactly happening with your relationship

Find a safe haven with New Life each month. We’re families and friends working together to offer support, develop coping skills, overcome challenges and mend lives. You are not alone on this journey.
